"Winter" to Spring already?

Bolt
Ola my friend!  Thanks for checking out ye ol' Boult Blog today!

So is it just me or has it been an almost instant switch from Winter to Spring this year?  One week it's the BC winter games and hockey provincials, the next Shames is closed and it's time to "spring ahead".  Odd hey?

I guess it's now that I"ll take a look back at our "winter".  I say it like that as because when I think about it we've had  pretty decent weather  We didn't get a colossal amount of snow this year (which I like) and it wasn't to terribly cold.  There was that 5 week stretch from November to December where we had some serious arctic outflow winds going on.  I think that was as bad as it got though.  It's almost like I'm still waiting for winter to come.  I have a sneaky feeling that as soon as I post this we'll get some more snow.

The rest of our Province was relatively light on the winter weather to.  Just look at the Olympic conditions in Vancouver.  I guess it was good to prove to the rest of the world that Canada isn't made up of snow and igloos.

The best part of the winter for me was during those "cold" days back in November when the lake froze.  There's no better winter past time for me than skating on the lake, despite the cold feet and my wind burnt face.

Looking ahead to Spring I guess I'm looking forward to Slow pitch and camping.  Although I don't feel like I'm ready to tackle the hours of spring yard work that I have in front of me.  Maybe we'll get a little more snow so I can hold off on that for a bit : )

Hopefully you had a good "winter" and stay tuned for all the Spring and Summer events coming up.

Lata!

When he's not visiting Bert's Deli or stealing pens from work, Ryan is beating on people who wear socks with their sandals and dreaming of meeting Red Green one day. The rest of the time he's on the radio.
