BC Winter Games

Well the BC Winter Games Terrace/Kitimat edition are history.

I wasn't here for the first hosting of the games, but from what I saw this weekend, I can't say I'm surprised we were chosen to host the games again!

To keep it short and sweet, Congratulations to ALL athletes, both local and far!  To those who travelled here, Thank you for allowing our city to host you! Thank you for being a stellar group of young people determined to do your best.  Congratulations to both Fraser Valley and Thompson-Okanagan for dominating the games!  You guys did great.

As for our Northwest participants...you made us very proud.!!!  THANK YOU for your work and energy this weekend.  Thank you for showing our visitors the Northwest is truly a great place to be!  You did good!

Thank you to ALL volunteers.  Without your immense participation, these games wouldn't have gone off as well as it did; security, food prep, drivers, everyone thank you!

And to our organizers.  You guys did a wonderful job.  Your job wasn't an easy one, but you made Terrace and Kitimat look good!  Thank YOU for doing what you do!
